Our signature alpine experience. We fly south to the volcanoes, then climb to land high on the snow of the volcanic plateau — step out of the helicopter into a silent, white world with the whole central North Island spread beneath you. On a clear day you can see across to Mt Taranaki and the west coast. After time on the snow we lift off again and tour the crater lakes and cones on the way home. Landing fees are included.
